The problem of substandard sewage discharge also appeared in Dongguan Huangyong Yinzhou Paper Co., Ltd. due to the problem of excessive chemical oxygen demand in the wastewater discharged by the enterprise, it was once shown a "red card" by the Dongguan environmental protection department. Business such as loans and customs declaration are affected. To this end, the company has completely changed the pollution situation by improving production technology and adding sewage treatment equipment, and the company has also entered a healthy development track.

Dongguan has formulated and implemented the measures of "closing a batch, relocating a batch, and managing a batch" to comprehensively strengthen the rectification of 1252 key polluting enterprises in the six major industries of printing, bleaching and dyeing, electroplating, papermaking, tanning, and water washing. At present, Dongguan has closed 94 pure electroplating, pure bleaching and dyeing, pure washing water, pure printing enterprises, small-scale paper mills and small-scale tanning enterprises, and the emission reduction effect of sulfur dioxide and chemical oxygen demand is obvious, freeing up environmental capacity. This year, another batch of such polluting enterprises will be closed, and online monitoring and management of environmental protection will be implemented for all the existing more than 300 state-controlled, provincial-controlled and municipal-controlled polluting enterprises. At the same time, Dongguan is planning to build nine major environmental protection professional bases, and plans to guide the pollution production workshops of more than 600 enterprises to move into the park.

On the other hand, by eliminating these backward production capacity, we can eliminate some enterprises that consume a lot of resources and energy.
